Serrano Scoop Story

We started our blog when we found out we were pregnant with Landon. Our goal was and still is to keep you all up to date with our family happenings. We failed miserably almost one and a half years ago. So we're trying again.

Landon's First Hike

In trying to make sure we remain active with a newborn, we embarked on Landon's first hike with Grandpa and Grandma Scherer. We headed up the Old Lincoln Highway (a dirt road that used to be the main road from Lake Tahoe to Carson City). There were amazing views the whole way, making the hike very scenic and enjoyable.

I got to break out my new Jeep baby carrier as well. Landon slept the whole time, making the hike comfortable for both him and Dad.

Landon strapped in and ready to rock.

Climb, climb, climb. Landon and I entering the tree line.

Around the final bend of our hike, this breathtaking view materialized. This is looking south toward Job's Peak and Carson Valley.
